Reminder for Global Survey of Management of Severe Paediatric Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in LMIC

Dear Anaesthetic Colleagues

Hearty greetings from the authors of the paediatric TBI online survey for low and middle-income countries. Sorry to trouble you once more.

A month ago we launched the above survey aiming to learn more about the management of children with TBI in low and middle-income countries. TBI causes a huge burden of disease particularly in these settings, and more information is required to document current practice and for potential future resource limited specific guidelines.

The survey is on the website of the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Societies (WFPICCS) and a number of other societies were kind enough to also host the link and put in their newsletters. In addition we undertook to email colleagues throughout the world asking to complete the survey. We thereby hope to reach the numerous health professionals that use the resources available to them to improve the outcomes of these children and ensure a truly global representation.

We have had a positive response thus far and are very grateful to all those people that have taken the time and effort to complete the survey. This is just a reminder to those of you who were interested in completing the 10 min online questionnaire but had not yet had the chance to do so. The survey will be open until the end of September and we sincerely hope you will be able to share your practice with us.

Please also feel free to share the link with colleagues you think are well placed to answer the questions.

All your efforts to complete and forward the survey are highly appreciated.

With warm regards
